Research Associate, Cell Biology
(Job Code: RACB)

We are seeking a dedicated Research Associate to join our Drug Discovery team. The successful candidate will develop, implement and troubleshoot new assays in support of research projects. This includes performing cell and molecular biology techniques such as mammalian cell culture, mechanistic and functional cell based assay, biochemical assays (HTRF and FP), IP, Western blot, ELISA. Additional responsibilities include the ability to analyze, summarize, and present experimental results to the manager and other team members. Work collaboratively with other team members to accomplish project goals and milestones.

Qualifications /Requirements:

  • BS or MS in cell biology, molecular biology, biochemistry or equivalent with at least 2+ years of industry or academic experience is required.
  • Strong background in cell biology, biochemistry and general molecular biology is important.
  • Understanding in signal transduction pathways with focus in oncology is highly desirable. Knowledge in inflammation/immunology is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks are critical.
